| Whelp, it's ought six and we celebrate our first
true holiday of the year today, Groundhawg's day. They used to use a
hedgehog over across the pond there but now it's just a whistle-pig.
Collette Costa will be hosting open mic. at the Alaskan tonight as part
of her annual Groundhog day party so make 'er on down there. Let's see,
Maridon and I are playing a set at the "Coffee Shop" series that Elva
Bontrager spearheaded and is actually at the Holy Trinity Church up
there on 3rd or 4th and Gold but they usually have coffee there too.
That will be on Saturday the 11th of Feb. We're headlinin' but I don't
know why because there are plenty of able musicians in the line-up that
night who aren't NEAR the stagehogs we are. Earlier in that same day, I
will once again be your host for KTOO's MUDLARK SAMPLER from 1-3 in the
PM., which I, of course, will use as a medium to promote myself with
blatant shamelessness. Be sure to tune it at 104.3 on your FM dial so
as not to miss that. Thanks again to all who came out to the CRABGRASS
shows last weekend, we had a blast trying to get everybody dancing as we

| Bueno dudes(ettes). One day I'll remember how to
run the schedule page but for now, we'll just post shows right here on
the ol' home page. As previously mentioned, we'll be playing the dance
on January 26th (thursday) with Rueben's O.T.S.B.. This is at the ol'
Capital School Gym and will be called by Kari Lundgren from Sitka.
Always good to see Kari. Lo and Behold the next two nights will find
your Panhandle Crabgrass Revival Band live on-stage at the Alaskan,
a.k.a., our livingroom. Haul it on down and say hi. We'll have our
last 10 or so CD's down there so get em' while they're HOT!! Get a load
of Maridon and I playing in a church this February too!! What's THAT

| Howdy Folks. Nothin' on the Crabgrass Platter as
of today's posting but thought I'd hop on and wish y'all a Happy New
Year. Ought-Six's auspicious entry found this Crabgrasser on stage at
the Alaskan with Uncle Sam & the Vaporizers (formerly known as
Daddy-YO). I know that Maridon and I are playing at Elva Bontragers's
new Coffeehouse Concert series during the first weekend of February but
ain't sure who's playing this month. I'll find this information for
YOU. While I'm digging up that info though, put this on your calendar
and smoke it. This thursday the 5th and also the 7th will find yours
truly at the helm of the Alaskan's WHIRLED FAMOUS NEVERENDING open mic
night. Open mic night at the Alaskan has become a Juneau institution
over the years so let's get institutionalized TOGETHER!! Don't forget
that Kari Lundgren is coming to town from Sitka in a couple weeks and
will be calling a dance at the Capital School Gym on January 26th. We
will be backing her up with Reuben's Old-Time Stringband. More stuff as

| Howdy folks, thanks for checkin' in. It's still
up on their website, but we're not actually playing in Portland at the
Gathering. Life Happens. Extenuating circumstances prevent us from
playing there this year. Maybe next time. Thanks to everyone who came
out to the Alaskan last week-end. After a couple of rusty-ass
practices, the ol' machine kicked into high gear and we had a great time
runnin' the bar clean out of Pabst with you. Thanks again. Most of
the pickers are outta town for the holidays, but we do have Franky
Solivan in town. Open mic thursday? Hope you're all having good
holiday lovin', here's passin' some of ours onto you. Merry

| What'd I tell ya? Crabgrass's first performance
since the FolkFest last April is a done deal. We'll be back where it
all started (kinda) at the Alaskan Hotel & Bar on December 16th,
& 17th, Friday & Saturday Night. More stuff simmerin' too, so
